Copper Beech Studio
Copper Beech Studio is a bespoke garden room offering yoga, retreats and workshops in a peaceful leafy setting. It is made from locally sourced soft wood and is incredibly cosy inside, with quadruple glazed windows and sheep’s wool insulation. Without the background drone of electrical appliances, it offers a soothing quietness conducive to yoga practice and relaxation.

Yoga at the studio incorporates a range of styles inspired by the Hatha tradition, using techniques such as postures, breathwork and mudras (gestures). Despite what most people believe, you do not need to be physically flexible to enjoy yoga. There are practices which really work for all ages and fitness levels – just turn up and explore what this means for you!
Meet Chloe
I am a qualified yoga and breathwork instructor, registered with Yoga Alliance. I have recently left a career in Finance to focus on something different. It’s not a story of corporate burnout – I have huge appreciation for the experiences I’ve had – I just feel ready for a simpler, less calculated way of life.

As part of this change, I am opening up Copper Beech Studio to offer yoga at a relaxed pace, with plenty of time for a warm drink, getting to know each other and discussion on the many ideas and practices which constitute “yoga”.

I love to accompany people in exploring how yoga can benefit them by sharing practices which cultivate the sense of being alive. For some people this means focussing on general well-being, for others it may relate to life decisions, coping with illness, facing dark emotions or something entirely different.

I draw upon practices which have proven effective over long periods of time, avoiding unhelpful popular slogans based on insufficient evidence. I aim to foster an inclusive and non-competitive atmosphere but always welcome feedback on how I can develop this further.​
